I'm sing a mac and the colors just suck monkey nuts. How do I change the contrast so it looks decent?

You can change things on a mac only by inserting $20 bills into the optical drive.

Mine's set on Color LCD. I've never changed it.

I thought I'd try an experiment on mac usability.
I'll use pictures to show what I tried:

I've found the help menus to be useful in most of the applications. It usually has a big blue arrow that shows you how to navigate menus to get at the item you want.

I had tried the Universal access and the brightness keys before posting and all that did was make it worse.

I want to change my XP and Vista boxes to my Macs settings, they seem to me to be perfect as they are.

The F2 key tends to brighten up my PB's LCD.
If your screen is progressively getting darker, the computer might be having a hardware failure (i.e., inverter board crapping out; mine did).
