Riding my FZ1 eastbound on I580 in Oakland last night about 5:30 pm or so when on the other side of the freeway, going west I saw this pickup suddenly veer toward me at a very high rate of speed. He was in front of the traffic it seemed because I don't recollect many, if any cars in front of him. He did this sudden 90 degree turn and just as I was passing he smashed into the center concrete divider! I thought sure he would have died but I just immediately moved over to the right hand lanes and continued eastbound toward Dublin as traffic continued behind me, at a slow rate of speed. It wasn't safe for me to do anything else as I was on the other side of the freeway but I am sure any vehicles behind him had to emergency stop. I couldn't find a report of it when I got home other than a stalled vehicle? It sounds like nobody was hurt which is just amazing to me becasue it looked like he moved from at least two lanes over toward the right hand side of the MacArthur there, and then suddenly a hard left and straight into the concrete divider, at the same time as I was riding past. Ofcourse I also heard the loud noise of impact!:shocker
