Hey Garrett,
I am about an hour and 20 minutes from you in La Quinta and like to do Big Bear, 243, Sage road, Hwy 74 and used to like to do Palomar, but to many cops on the weekends from what I have been hearing. If you ever want to hook up out this way, please let me know.

Take it to the track! You are one to talk. Where were you this weekend? Hmmm? I was on the grid, and I am pretty sure I didn't see you :twofinger
so you don't ride at all other then at the tracks:pActually, not really. I have done one mellow ride with a friend, and one group ride to break-in my brother-in-laws bike since I started racing last year. My street bike is only used for errands these days (company truck for commuting).

450:wow
I am a small displacement rider. I went from a 1200, to a 1000, to a 700, and now a 60 :rofl
Next up, maybe a 65! Though I am seriously considering going to an NSR instead of an RS. The 50 class is really competetive, and a lot cheaper:nerd
We will be at Streets in August :thumbup

I might show up to the July Grange dates, if I don't sell the NSR first.

I might show up to the July Grange dates, if I don't sell the NSR first.Cool. Maybe I will have my bike running right so I can keep up for the whole race. I am having siezing problems with the new 60 kit. The 60 still isn't enough to keep up with NSR's, but it helps.
How about running Streets in August?

Looks like the NSR might be sold next weekend.
I'm going to Pahrump the weekend of the SOW. Riding the GSXR is getting in the way of riding the NSR. LOL.

I just moved down to Moreno Valley from Nor Cal, unfortunately my trackday is not until mid Aug. Some twisties to ride around in the neighborhood should hold me down until then. I'll be riding sometime this week if anyone is down for a ride.

Even though you're close to so many good Malibu rides, google map "Big Tajunga Canyon, Tajunga, CA" (about a 30-40 minute ride to the Sunland entrance) over to Angeles Forest Hwy, finish it off with Mt Emma road (used to call that "the racetrack.....I'm not sure why.......) - you can always connect with Hwy 2 which is good too, but is where the traffic, cops, and more of the crashes tend to happen.
Friggin GREAT riding there - but you're gonna hate your black suit!
Where are you going to go? I live in the Valley to.
My "budget" allows me to go to Buttonwillow Aug. 17. Don't know if its AFM configuration or not for that day (forgot to check). If you have a truck to haul both our bikes I'll definitely keep you posted. Otherwise email me your # and we'll go ride this week. If I don't lean and flick around my bike I'm going to go crazy. :ride

I got a little tacoma and its hell to fit 2 bikes in there. You should do Streets on 8-2. Its gonna be a blast!!!
I've been able to fit my friends race bike as well as mine on a lowered chevy S10. I'm pretty sure your truck is larger than that. Until then I'm not gonna let my tires go to waste with daily commute. I'll msg you my contact if you're down for some riding tomorrow or thurs.

Palomar is cool. Tight, decreasing radius turns, but it's only like 8 miles long.
I've been there a few times, but it's 100 miles from my place.
I like ACH. Fast, long sweepers. Probably won't go back there till Aug/Sept.

I heard and google ACH and the road does look lke alot of fun. saw it posted
on the SoCal rider forum. just to bad that like over 120 miles away from where I am at.
As long as the roads are nice and clean and have similar likings to HWY 9 back up Nor Cal I'm set. I'm down for a ride tomorrow if anyone is interested in playing tour guide.

I am looking in the Carlsbad area for when my lease is up next year. My wife works there and is commuting 90 miles a day. She is going to start a second job up there soon and is going to have to rent a place to stay for those days because the days will be so long. So it makes more sense for us to move up there somewhere. I have a company truck so I don't pay for gas :D
Makes my commute to the track shorter, which is WAY more important :laughing
