I may be mistaken, but today on eb I80 just past Madison here in Sac, I could have swore I saw a CHP uniformed officer on a red st1300 traveling in the opposite(WB) lanes. I didn't think much of it or figured I was wrong but when I passed the weight station a mile or so up the road, there was a CHP truck with an empty atv/motorcycle trailer behind it.

Is this possible or does anyone know anything of it?

The bike was very obviously not duty prepared.

If the CHP was testing a bike, it would not be red. It would be a black/white test bike.

He took a loaner from A&S to get back to the station nobody was able to pick him up at the dealer after dropping off his motor.

I was actually speaking with the Sacmetro fire EVOC instructor guys about their motorcycle pilot program they are putting together. Three of the fire guys went through our basic motor school and did very well. I'll be out at EVOC tomarrow,, I'll have to see how their program is going???
