Could be worse, I have a score of 800 pts! (I need to upgrade!) You most likely will have to overclock your cpu/ram for higher pts.

Btw; I have a dell 3007wfp-hc 30" lcd & evga 8800gtx that I'm thinking of putting up for sale soon if you want to utilize your 780 sli 3 way mobo! Bought in Nov 07 when I was building my gaming rig but never came to fruition.

30 inches.. DAMN!.. im tempted.. but i paid 730 for my 24 inch about 2 years go.. BEST damn pc purchase too.

I was thinking of taking the Quad Core jump too. New mobo.. new ram.. but stick to DDR2 instead of 3 because it would cost me a crap load. Keep everything else.

SLi is for scrubs. lol. you can either spend a medium amount of money for 2 "so so" cards, or stfu and buy the best of the best. The 10fps increase you'll get when running SLI isn't worth the $300.

my 2cents

i agree. SLI is crap for 10% increase.. come on its 2 cards.. yet you only get 10%.. only if u got a crap money to blow and still have a shit load of cash.. otherwise.. dont waste your cash

heres my 3Dbench

Sli is great if you're running an ultra hi res monitor; but even 3 way sli is a bit overkill unless you have money to burn.

well, I am running that 8800GT, bumped the settings from 600-900-1500 up to 700-1000-1728 and bumped cooling up to 80% and Bammo I am at 12389,
oh I also bumped my cpu from 2.4 to 2.6

my C2D 6600 is running at 2.8ghz. I can hit 3.0 but its too hot. Im running with stock Heat sink and the side panel off.. so no fans. I can sleep better with less noise from the fans. I think my ram may be taking a shit though. During summer ill clock it lower so its not so hot in my room.
