How many miles do you get out of a tank when only in the city?

My tank will go 130ish miles before it runs out...(happened before :()

on my 06 I get 90-100 miles until the low fuel light turns on. I fill up around 115 miles and top it off and I am able to fill up 3.7gallons.

I ride at a sane pace I usually shift at below 6k rpm and am averaging 31mpg... is this normal or should I be getting more?

When I fill up in Middletown my fuel light comes on in Davis 120 -130 miles??

do those numbers include freeway miles? I ride around town only, with a lot of stop and go.

Thats great mileage..With VERY spirited riding expect only 83 to 89 miles then the light comes on.To play it safe- I only expect 20 miles max when that light comes on ,I head for the gas station.

This is my experience from the local tracks and mountains..

On average I usually see 80 - 90 if I'm lucky. In reality I get pretty happy when I see that I got anything over 80 miles before the light turns on. I think it actually came on once after something silly like 68.4 miles or something like that. But I was really caning her...

Oh and for reference the bike has 3k on the odometer.

Mileage on mine sucks in comparison to my carb'd 9r. If its mileage your after, go smaller.

My 2007 is a little funny because the light turns on, I go to fill it up, and I put in...maybe....3 gallons. And it has a 4.5 gallon tank right? So even after 700 miles on a new bike I have no idea about the millage. Manny, this Monday I am riding to Modesto (my hometown) to check on my meth labs off McHenry Ave and I have to break some heads at my cock fighting syndicate near the airport. I will trace my millage and get back to you.
