the bigest advantage it has over the XR is that it's street legal & i can pack shit on it for camping,

there are no mods available yet :(

is it the same basic engine? I bet so, then all the bores and pistons are open to you. looks heavy. I'd say depends on weight & gearing and where you riding. tires and wheels market just like the XR. so no mods? not true it looks like the tinkerers delight! then again, so is the XR.

The ruckus is a stripped metropolitan; for $400 more! It uses a 4-stroke 50cc single, and I think it's liquid-cooled.

I'd take the metropolitan over the ruckus any day :D

very cute, like the v-dub beetle of scooters. but don't even think off roading. you gotta' drill down exactly what you, or is it she, will do with the scoot. the xr's are really really tiny. remember that. check out all the new 150s too, some good models in the US finally.

but I'm thinking you should go Zuma II if they still make em. street & trail. any further abuse is up to you :loco they can take it. tons of mods, 2 stroke minarelli-based engine as I recall. can be made into a frankenstein little ripper!
