I wouldnt call that a mod as it didnt really give me any signifigant hp increases, but it did help with gas mileage by about 20-30 miles more per tank.
for me, it has nothing to do with that, and everything to do with how easy it is to make fun of ricers...they're an endless source of amusement and entertainment to me...
Well, I was speaking more of a couple of prominent Euro drivers that think its so much fun to make everyone that doesnt drive a Euro feel like a piece of shit. I dont care what anyone thinks of my car, I love it, its sure as shit gets better gas mileage than the euro trashers and parts dont cost me an arm and a leg to buy. I love my Honda.

I go to Sacramento raceway a lot (mostly saturday test and tunes) but the car has never been in the other lane or backwards. :) I finally did put a roll bar in the car so I shouldn't get any more flak for not being legal though.

haha deffinitely, being that it was my fourth dsm I had quite a wealth of knowledge of what it would take to make it fast. However, that's not what I bought it for but well you know how that goes. First it was just a catback and some intercooler pipes. then it was a slightly larger turbo, along with all the mods that go with that. Next thing I know I am putting in built motors, slapping on a gt30r and doing an awd swap in my parents garage(man I hate living in apartments).
Shamless plug: if anyone knows someone interested in some gramlight 57pros with tires or 2g dsm stoptechs let me know selling them cheap.

hard work-more appreciation and love ;)
At the moment I have a semi track 93 240sx which is geared towards drifting. Just got this one not too long ago. It's my sixth 240sx. With many s13's and s14's inbetween.
I also have a 04 subaru wagon with a sti powertran swap, gt30, built head/block, suspension goodies and on spray. Without spray @ 2bar it was putting down. 379whp.
With the spray which I haven't used yet, it should be fun.
I had a TurboII which I recently sold.
Along with a Integra LS with a partial Type R swap.
There are many cars in between.
I love cars. So much fun at the track. hahah.
But man... tires are getting expensive.
I'll post up some pics later.
Just found one. This is like four days after I bought the car, ripped it apart and got it running decently enough to take to buttonwillow.

Not true. Almost all Si models have the motors built in Japan, then they are assembled here. Several of the Si models are assembled in the UK. My 05 Civic Si is 60% Japan, 40% UK. Everything was made in Japan and the car was assembled in the UK. Thanks for participating though. :laughing

Rolled down a good 100 feet. Walked out with 2 stitches. I'm lucky as hell.
Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill you and he's gonna kill me, he's gonna kill us!
Jeff Spicoli: Hey man, just be glad I had fast reflexes!
Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna shit!
Jeff Spicoli: Make up your mind, dude, is he gonna shit or is he gonna kill us?
Jefferson's Brother: First he's gonna shit, then he's gonna kill us!
Jeff Spicoli: Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

Eisernkreuz I'd love to see a Japanese take on muscle cars
if its like that. then they must be equal modded on the same amount of cash dumped in it. but if your talking about a Z01 with 40k in just mod vs a rx7 with only 20k (Z01 motor in a Rx-7). then of course you know which will be faster (Rx-7). Got you there. since it is alot lighter. So see import do rum domestic motor. So there really isnt a battle between Import or Domestic. It more of the driver's ego & balls.

No, dude, you didn't understand what I said...I would like to see a Japanese car company's take (ie. their version) on an American muscle car. Toyota has done the modern/retro thing with the FJ Cruiser, and they've built a powerful V8 in the IS-F...but I'd like to see something with retro cues, a large V8, but well-built.
Germany's built a bunch of cars with muscle car spirit, from all sorts of big-bore Mercedes (from the CLK430 to the 63AMGs) to V8 and even V10 BMWs, etc.
I also kinda think it's impossible for Japan to do that because if you go back in to the 60s and 70s, Japanese cars looked and drove like total garbage. Not that the 80s and 90s were much better, but you get the point.

Good gathering but, boring. Can't believe I stayed there as long as I did.

It is a car show. Car shows are not that exciting. They are usually for socializing and checking out the jailbait.
If you want exciting go to the drag strip, autocross or a track day. :)

ty ;) Wish I could've done more, but my insurance found out about "certain mods" and changed its class which costed me over $400+ month to insure. :thumbdown so I had to rid of it.
