I was just talking about this generator yesterday when I set up my Amateur Radio Station after a long absence from the air. I could use it for Track Day too!

Darn, I don't think I'll get the money together in time though. All my money got tied up in Taxes and Track Days next month. Do this again and I'm IN! (Next, talk to housemate and get him to buy one!)

We just made margaritas while camping, these generators are quiet, dependable.
So quiet we forgot it was running for over an hour!

Honda's doing a 0% for a year deal on all generators. I'm interested in picking one up myself.

Sweet deal, don't let this pass you up.

Is this price OTD? I found them for $869 shipped elsewhere. I'd like to buy local so if it's OTD then I'm game for an EU2000:thumbup

Plus tax. There are out of state dealers selling Honda Generators, but they have to be they are not selling the California Certified ones (not kidding, are models are California certified.)

Support your LOCAL shop and don't hold them "hostage" over the stupid sales tax - it's not going in their pocket and you can't expect them to "eat the sales tax" because that would mean they would have to sell you a $1,100 generator for only $800! Get real... for fifty bucks more or less it's not worth screwing your local shops - let them make a living too so they can be in business and support the motorcycle community.

I don't know Jeff, but I've know Brad (the owner) for about 15 years and they run a good shop at Honda Peninsula Ducati. They support the local riders, sponsor racers and go out of their way to take care of customers. You're getting a GREAT deal at $899 for a Honda EU2000 and you know they'll stand behind the product, so what happens when your "online deal" shows up in a UPS box that's been dropped 15 times and the plastic is all busted up?? Are you going to try to exchange it at Honda Peninsula?? C'mon bro, cough up the extra few bucks and support your local dealer! Funny thing about those guys is that if you're a regular customer, they seem to give you better pricing even if you don't ask for it. :thumbup But if you're a bottom feeding cockroach just looking to grind them down on a bike or a part or whatever, they can smell that $hit from a mile away and you're likely to walk out bitching about how Honda Pen wouldn't "hook you up"... :rolleyes

Be loyal to your local shop, buy your stuff locally as much as possible and they will always take good care of you. Go behind their building and I guarantee you there aren't any Porsches or Ferraris, so you know they're not getting rich off this business...
