Just wondering if anyone may be interested in Playing paintball. Some of my buddies are going, but the more the merrier, plus a killer group rate.

My gf states she can get some tickets whcih are good for 5 hours of play in the Santa Cruz area. The cost is abput 7 to 10 bucks. They provide the gear and stuff. all that one needs to buy are the paintballs.

I'll get actual info (cost, location, gear provided, and find out if any free food is included for the price).

As soon as I get more dtails, I'll post.

hey i'm interested! i use to play all the time at the Creek off of Capitol Expwy across from Andrew Hill High School. now they they kinda builded a golf course around that area, it's pretty tough. but shit, i have my own Gun and Gear. (Spyder LP Model 2000)

I used to referee at what used to be Mare Island Paintball, which is now Fairground Paintball right next to Marine World. Used to be a part of "Total Chaos", our little team.........we entered one tournament and took 3rd, not bad for the first time. Anyhow, I have a ton of gear for sale from the gun to a scuba tank. I'll post it in classified later on.

After I told my gf that we are interested she went ahead and bought 15 tickets, for a group price (7.50 per person). The brochure/tickets states the following:

1) Bay Area Locations where the tickets are valid for:

a) The Adventure Games ( www.800TAG5150.com)
1-800-TAG-5150 ....States the Santa Cruz area

b) Mare Island Paintball
707 586 9577

2) Tickets state that each pass includes the following:

a) All day use of the playing field.
b) BASIC gun
c) Safety gear (mask and goggles)
d) ***States the co2 and paintballs must be purchased there.
e) When I talked to the guy on the phone, he stated that
hotdogs are freel, but no drinks :( (sorry calvin). Oh yeah,
the place I called was for the Santa Cruz place.



Maybe, we can set a date to play? Or if you want to get the passes, just tell me how many.

I've got guns and gear and would be willing to help outfit one other person for the day. I've played at TAG and Bear Creek mostly, so both are good fields. TAG is the better as they have 4-5 actual playing fields (possibly more by now - were building last year). I'll be out of town 5/17 to 6/2, so anytime after that I'm down... :teeth

Hmmm I've seen "basic" guns before. Unless I'm wrong in assuming that its going to be a pump action gun? I definatly want semi-auto! :D Just not sure if I want to invest in the sport yet.

As for the socal trip, so long as I have a bike to ride I'm planning on being there!
