Thank you, I'm going to check it out tonight when I get home. Sorry you are stuck up there. Do you surf? We had 15 footers yesterday. That is the only thing wrong with commuting on a bike. No place for my board. But it seems that there are a lot of cool people on barf in SF to ride with from all the threads. I'm feeling jealous. Good luck on your job.

Here's a great club that puts on excellent rides. Not so much "twistie" runs, but more tourist-type runs. They are a great bunch of people!

Thanks all I appreciate the hook up with the link, has anyone been down the old 395? I saw a write up in the Tribune last week that made it look like fun. Any advice, places to stop etc.?

Simple, I ride a cruiser. :) Does the invite still stand?

Jack, me and my friends ride up there all the time. We usually ride on Saturdays because I go to church on Sundays. They occasionally go without me :( but that is not encouraged!:teeth We are planning a ride in August because I have my foreign exchange student and July is booked up for everyone. You are all welcome to join us. We are planning a coast ride since its been so nice. I'll post the info here when it gets nailed down. We are an eclectic bunch. Two Harley's (neither are snobs), one crotch rocket :teeth, 3 Honda Shadows, ME, 2 V-Stars, 1 Gold Wing (who always says he will go but never shows). I think thats about it. But we always plan something to do, for instance on our last ride we went to the Pala Gem Mine and dug for tourmalines. One of our guys found one worth 200 bucks. The dog. We are a friendly bunch and everyone is welcome. We have 3 girl riders! Go girls!!

Where is a good spot for moto gear in San Diego North County?

I'm rolling down that way soon.

Looking forward to 3 rolled tacos with guacamole at the many local 'berto's.

but it depends what you are looking for. And the Carne Asada Quesadillas are awesome here! There is a little place off of Telegraph Canyon. Yummy!

I'm looking for anything and everything. I might pick up a pillion and need some things.

That place in Vista will work out, I'm going to roll right through Vista, thanks for the info.

Likely won't be making it as far south as National City on this trip, but thanks, Darlene.

Long time lurker here on barf as i'm in sd.

www.hypercycles.org is a great site too. it's where i met all my riding friends since i started riding just over a year ago. they set up group rides about once a month and then a bunch of little groups get together for little rides as well.

there's thursday bike night in mira mesa by the albertsons off of westview parkview (the parking lot across from the theater).

There's a bike night at society in PB (a pool hall and bar) on wednesday nights.

not sure what the ones down in south county are as i live in manila mesa.

Hi Janell! I KNEW IT! There were always more bikes on Thursday and I had to watch splitting traffic more because they don't always look before they split. Do you go to the albertsons to hang?
