Looking for guitarists or any other musicians in the Modesto area that want to get together to jam.
Enough free time to possibly put together an acoustic set for some open mic night stuff would be cool, but BBQ, beers, and music would be cool as well.
I've been playing guitar for about 14 years - sometimes half-assed, sometimes dedicated. Mostly classic and alternative rock, acoustic stuff mainly. I can sing decently, but I'm no vocalist.
I used to travel quite extensively for work, so I haven't had much opportunity to play with other musicians with any kind of regularity - I've gigged a little bit at parties, but nothing really involved. I just find myself with a bunch of free time, and have always wanted to get together with another guitarist for some local open mic stuff - lemme know if anyone's up for it, or just to get together to jam and kick down some knowledge.
