Telefonica question

So is there a difference between the 600 and the 600M other than the paint and decals? I was under the impression that they are exactly the same except for the outside. For $300 more I wouldnt think you would get more bike. Someone please shed some light. Im such a noobie. On the VW forums im actually the one answering questions when I can.

AFAIK only decals (similiar to the Champions Edition).

Yes, the two bikes are identical. I asked the parts guy at RWC and he told me the plastics and decals aren't even much more expensive than the non-limited versions.

BTW - isn't it funny that you see more Telefonicas than any other Gixx 600??

That's because you can't tell if the other colors are 600s, 750s, or 1000s.... Unless you look at the shock or the stickers if it hasn't been removed....

Aren't the paint schemes different from model to model? I own a yellow/black 600 and my tank is black. I went and sat on a yellow/black 750 to see how it felt a little while ago and I kept telling myself that something was different about it. Turns out that the tank was yellow (and really damn bright I might add).

I see so few of the yellow/black gixxers out there anyway. Everybody always buys those blue/white ones. It's a shame that nobody told them that the yellow/black ones are the fastest! :twofinger

likely and steve have 600's, both yellow and black, but reverse scheme. likelys tank is yellow, steves is black.

in my mom (motorcycle owners manual) it clearly states that red/blk/silver gixxers are the fastest
