Quite frankly, they are one of the biggest performance gains you can realize for the money. Your stock front wheel weighs about 11 lbs and the BST is a little under 4.5 lbs. That means your literbike will change direction like a 400 and accelerate and brake much more quickly. Trust me, I've ridden GSXR1000s with BST wheels and nearly put them into the infield they turned so much faster and with so much less effort than I was used to. One of our customers, Bill Fixsen has a stock 06 GSXR750 and immediately went 3 seconds a lap faster at Thunderhill raceway last summer after installing the BSTs and Galfer Wave rotors and brake lines. No pipe, no engine work, no suspension.
