Another Registration Question

I just bought a used bike from a dealer and the plates have a 2007 registration sticker. I do have the temporary registration from the dealer. My question is would it be better to remove the plate until the permanent registration is received in the mail, or drive around with the plate on showing the 2007 sticker? Which is more likely to get me pulled over?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

50/50. Until you get your current registration tabs, expect to get pulled over.

Having no plate on the bike is a little more of an eye catcher for me than having expired tabs. To me, no plate on an older bike generally means the rider is trying to hide something.

I agree. If it were me, I'd laminate the temp tag and attach it to the plate frame with some sturdy tape.. either above, below or to the the left or right of the plate, so it is visible. That would cove you until the tab comes.
