i was going to try it out in the parking lot, just cause i had a few min. to kill. it's a lot that had maybe 10 cars if that (didn't count ea. space but i'd estimate 150-200 cars can fit) in it and very wide open. so i follow some of the wheelie tips i've been reading hit it up to about 5k. close the throttle, compress the forks and WOT. and it comes up!! i got it in my 2nd try and it was fuggin awesome....i'm still shaking.:eek the only part i didn't like was i hit my nuts coming down.:mad <--how i looked when it did.
my bro tells me i got to about 10-10:30 and i know i could have gotten it higher if i just kept the throttle open. is it 10 o clock if you can't see over the windscreen?
i tried again later in 2nd when going back home and maybe got it up an in if that.:rolleyes. haha i better work on 1st gears for now.
now i'm stoked cause i know i can do em now!!!!! next up, standups! j/k i know i need to practice more before attempting harder tricks.
damn, still can't do stoppies though.

CONGRATS!!!!!!! Wheelies still scare the pee outta me, its that damn accelleration that freaks me out........I know I know, I have a 900RR and I am scared of wheelies....what a dork. :D Now you gotta try stoppies..........Vixen and I went out yesterday to goof around and SHE IS DOING THEM NOW!!!!!!! Not too high, but she's doing them, she did about a dozen total, her highest ones were only about a foot but what matters is that she did them. We'll be posting the pics later on SBN and not here so we can rape SBN's bandwidth......:D
Pretty soon on our next group ride, everyone will be stunting, or trying to atleast....:D
Congrats again MStingray!!!!

Hey! Not bad. Instance, you should teach Ms how to do a stoppie and Ms can teach Instance how to wheelie. (Without shitting his pants anyway.:twofinger)

:laughing :laughing :laughing
Thats not a bad idea. At the meet on sunday, i tried some stand up's. It was horrible. my timming was off , and i couldnt hold it at the balance point very long. What a diffrence a few months of not riding my bike has done to me. :p
Looks like im back to square one again with the rest of you guys. hahaa
Time to start learning the tricks all over again.

Afraid to wheelie a 900RR??
I was doin' wheelies on a 929 last week!! :D It was just in 1st gear and I didn't ride them out...it was my first time on the bike. :twofinger
Anyway...wheelies are fun, but stoppies look really kewl. :D I did a stoppie or 2 on the way to take the bike back. I think it had braided lines, the mofo came up REAL quick. Of course, I'm use to a 500 pound bike trying to stoppies on it...well, let's just say it takes a LOT of courage. :laughing
Good luck to you guys...hopefully I'll have a bike soon and I can start my wheelies on it. :D
Later

Way to go MS, I knew it wouldn't be that long before you popped the cherry on that zuk.
Alright I can wheelie as good as Ken now! I didn't pull up a wheelie for a couple of weeks and I sucked for the first few. I guess you gotta keep that balance point feeling fresh.
I'm def. down for a squidly meet, maybe we could cruise over to the spot that Ken knows about down the street from Union City.

I'm down for meeting up w/ 5150 someday. I'm sure they could use a good laugh (mah stunnin') but from what' I've read they are all about the sport, not the skills, and I'm sure they'd welcome us to a squid-fest. I know that some of us would get some one-wheel props as well.
