SF meet and greet

anyone interested in starting a SF riders bike night? I'd liek to start a wednesday night meet and greet here in the city.

Vixen and I were in the city last night at "The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf" off of Fillmore and Sacramento to scope out the spot for parking availability. But the parking there sucks, its all street parking, it'd be a great spot though.......there is a Starbucks and a Petes coffee a half ablock from each other, and not to mention The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf shop(much better than Starbucks).
If everyone rode their bike than we could always park between cars.

Agent66, see if there is a coffee shop in the city with plenty of parking. The meet in San Jose on Tuesdays is ideal cause of the ample parking and seating outside. If you find a spot Vixen and I are down, and I am sure a lot of other north bay/east bay riders would be interested. The San Jose spot is almost 60 miles from my house one way, so a closer location would be nice. :D :D

off the top, there are the starbucks on gellert and at westlake shopping center (i'm still haunted by that annoying radio commercial). there's also the kk and in n out. lots of parking at all those venues. of course none of these are technically in SF. :p oh yeah, there's the starbucks/wells fargo at 4th and brannan too. cycle gear and pacbell park nearby!

oh, and i'd advise against parking in between cars in the city....better to put it up on the sidewalk. way too many inconsiderate/incompetent drivers. unless you like seeing your bike taking a nap.

wednesday i am game. i'm killing myself trying to think of a place to park. we could do stonestown and hangout at borders(at least lots of parking and there is coffee) or what? i dunno. wednesday is very good though. lets say 6 or 7pm, now lets just get the spot.

it's kind of yuppie but what the hell maybe we can dive the place out and right around the corner is java beach it's a pretty mellow coffee house and there is more parking thatn we would ever need. Over by ocean beach you can't beat the view.

I'm way down for this spot. Plenty of parking and you can't beat the view. Who wants to meet at a crowded mall anyway? Count me in for Wednesday nights if you pick this location.

i'm in also. been waiting if regular SF meet cud develop. though i work in cupertino, couldn't really do east bay/so.bay coffee since work really hectic and didn't feel like doing a 1+hr ride home (i'm a wus at night).

btw, if SF's a regular, more reason for me to work from home! mon, tues, wed, thurs,friday......

anyplace is fine w/ me. but i like the beach chalet idea. maybe we can rotate the location? just some thoughts.

how about next wed we do beach chalet, people can show up anytime from 630 on and maybe the next week stonestown, maybe one week we'll do brothers for korean bbq or something *shrug*

That sounds even better cuz of outside seating and less expensive. how's the parking there?

I think, I have been to this cafe. Surfers hang out there, right? It's a good choice. Easy to get to from the Great Highway. I don't think there is a designated spot for motorcycle parking. It's always hard to park anywhere in the City anyway. We can deal.
