View Full Version : Cluck U? Pre-Starbucks-meet? Tuesday?

I'm sure some of you guys/gals have been to Cluck U (right across the street from Santa Clara Univ.). For those of you who haven't, it's a Hot Wings joint. Pretty damn good!! Anyhow, on Tuesdays, they have 35-cent night from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.. You can get 12 wingers and a large soda for about $6. Not too bad...

Does anybody want to meet up before Starbucks? We could meet up around 6:00, hang out and eat for about an hour, then shoot over to Starbeezee.

I've always wanted to take that chicken challenge, so I'll be up for that. What are the details? Is it like a dozen of their hot wings in a few minutes without water?
My friend did it and said it's not the spice that'll get you, but rather the gross taste.

Umm, it's habenero extract. You have to eat 12 wings in 10 or 15 minutes. Can't use any napkins nor drink anything. After you eat the wings, you have to sit still for 5 minutes (no napkins, no drinks).

I've seen a few people do it.. and I've seen some try and fail.

If you're going to take the 911 challenge. Let me know before hand, so I can take my video camera. :D

Its 12 hotwings, and you have 15 minutes to eat all of it. Then sit for 5 minutes after you eat. If you can stand that, then you get a free shirt....whoopee doo!!!

Outlook says I can make this one, currently. That way, I don't have to work extra hrs to kill time to attend my 1st SoBay meet/greet. Still want to meet SoBay peeps.

Hmmm been a while since I've been to cluck u. Personally I like the breast bites. But I can try and make it off work in time next week.

I still want to, but its going to depend on what kind of day tomarrow is at work. I'll post and update tomarrow afternoon when I have a better idea.

Sounds good... I work nights and can't make it to the Starbucks over on Blossom Hill and Santa Teresa. I work right down the street from the Alameda and can probably take off from work for 30 minutes. So I will try to be there too around 6pm.
