Hi Rich, I'll have to check out that comparo test. I've had the
VOR for almost a month now and I'm pretty pleased with its performance, expecially since installing the FCR41 carb.
My biggest gripe right now with the VOR is the seat. I'm not expecting goldwing level comfort but I would like a seat that is a little more ass friendly.
I'll probably keep the carb and sell the bike in a year or two and get something else like an 04 or 05 husaberg. There is always something better out there. I ended up with what was available locally at a semi reasonable price. The VOR was not my first choice or even second choice but I'm ok with it for now.

Rich, the 04 Husabergs are being made in the KTM plant in Austria. Prior models from Sweden seem to have some reliability problems but from what I've been hearing, many if not all of these problems will be addressed with the 04 models. Time will tell.
For the time being I'll enjoy the VOR. Overall, its a good bike...its light, has some power, and turns really well. There are a few quirky things like the seat and the spring loaded side stand that make you wonder what the designers/engineers were thinking. The engine however, is an impressive piece of work. I was surprised by the power it produces after a bit of tuning and I'm still running the restrictive stock exhaust. I have a FIM legal Giannelli can on order. It should rip with the can installed.
I'm sure you'll be pleased with the Vert. I have a few spare Dell Orto carb jets that I won't be using. Let me know if you want them.

yea, those bikes look nice. there was an article about them in Italian Bike a few months ago as well. I contacted the manufacturer at the time to check on when they'll be bringing the bikes in to the US and to keep me posted on when an importer gets up and running. As soon as they hit the US I hope to be a dealer for them.

The LC4s were like that when they were new. Seat like a 4x2.
Dev got the comfort seat, I didn't.
My ass is properly broken in now and I feel no more pain!! In the motorcycling sense that is... :blush

This site is run by a girl called Emma who lives a mile or so from my mother in law's house!!
She's very cool but slightly warped in a 'Veggie Dave' kind of way- she races a Husqvarna 610.
Kinda reminds me of F4iChic in a way too. In a good way, that is.
