make my pants flood
so i'm splitting to the front of the stoplight the other day, minding my own business. i'm sitting there for about 30 seconds b4 our and the other directions turn signals get the green, telling me that ours will go green soon. i shift into first and start inching slowly into the crosswalk, as does the accord to my left. i hate it when they do this, making me think they're going to shoot from the fockin line. i bring the rpms up to about 3500-4grand, waiting for the light to go. it turns green, i start to gently slip the clutch, and as soon as it starts moving, i dump it and roll on the throttle. i must've dumped it a little too fast or something, cause the front end comes up and drops back down again!!! the bike then sorta bogs for a split second then takes off. heh!!!

granted it only came up about 6 inches-a foot, but gave me a pretty good 'oh shit'!!! i doubt the ex5hizzle has enough juice to do it in 2nd though...wooohoooo!!! i'm stunnin...

Yes it can.... guy around here pulls mad wheelies from lights all the time on his ex500!!!
Looks hot..... not as hot as your avatar...but pretty damn hot!!

Just keep rolling it on and it won't bog and will just keep climbing.

I remember seeing a young woman do the same thing on a CB 450 Honda from about 1970. She got the front wheel up to about eye level and almost fell off the back.

I love busting wheelies on the little bikes. My friend is letting me gear up her 250 and put a scrape bar on it. That is going to be so much fun!

Depends on the rider. I on one hand cannot do wheelies on my ex500 (or anything else for that matter), But BentR6 (Devin) pulled wheelies all day long on my little bike. You can tell he didn't like it tho....oil and gas level did not like the perpendicular position.

Just depends......

hey, the best part is getting a little chick to hang on your back like a baby monkey and rocketing that thing off the line for some easy extra umph on those wheelies. Then you can just lose um off the back and take it back down to earth.
