[Dumb Question] How do you actually slide... don't your feet have any traction?[/Dumb Question]

Your feet barely touch the ground, most of your weight is on the tank. I swing my leg over like I'm getting of my bike and lean my chest on the tank then take my feet of the pegs and have them "skitch" along the ground. This is one of those stunts IMO is easier the faster you go, I've pulled it off from 35mph to about 90 on the freeway. The faster you go, the more stable the bike is, but CAREFUL getting back on, the first few times the bike might wabble around, make sure you have a wide street when learning. Next time I ride with ya on the freeway, I'll show ya. :D :D

Good Luck!!!

The reason that they call it skitchin is because of the sound your shoes make when they are barely skimming along the ground. If you want to put all your weight on your feet and none on the bike that's usually called skiing. The first couple of tries like instance said you might be a little bit wobbly but after you get over that it's a piece of cake.

Have you guys ever wrecked attempting this stunt? Or known anybody that has? I seen Instance do this before and it is pretty sick. It looks pretty easy when he does it. The more i think about it, the more i want to try it. I dont know if there is a large room for error or not since i never tried it.

You can always do what Instance did his first time....ride to a complete stop while skitching. Of coarse I do the same thing but for some reason my rear tire comes off the ground:confused
