I was up today talking to Chris Baker & getting some parts, and low & behold he has another RVF400. It's a 1995 with around 10,000 km on the odometer. It's pretty stock with the stock paint scheme (see pic below). Since a lot of people always ask about my bike - I figured I would let everyone know so that they can jump on it as soon as it's titled (in about a month or so). New tires, new registration and clean parts & body. He estimates he will be asking about $5700 but that is only an estimate. Let me know if you are interested because he is already having peeps line up for it....

So all you ladies that want this cool bike cuz you can fit - and you guys that want something unique, pm me or send me an email at beers_kelly@hotmail.com :cool

They are great lil bikes if not a bitch to work on. I use to have one. It shared the garage with my nsr205sp , fzr400rr and my rgv 250. Anyone remember sundon trading co.????? They use to import bikes and I use to work for them.

450sb not 450p

you can find parts if you look and can navigate the net

they are great track bikes
I liked mine although it a little small for me

5700 for a titled rvf sounds good if it is in excellent shape. If it is, buy some race body work, because the stock stuff can be hard to come by in good original condition.

It's been a while since I raced afm ,but back in the day to run production the bike had to be officially imported to this country.

Therefore I believe you'll you'll have to run 450ss and formula 2 was it??

My small knowledge has shown me that a lot of the parts are interchangeable with other Hondas from those years (i.e. F2 & F3) I know for sure the oil filter, Front brake lever, and possibly the clutch lever are the same as the F2 and many places online have part availability. I was also told today (However I haven't had any experience with them) but that TSR can get pretty much any original part brand new. So far I have been lucky in that I have acquired many spares :teeth

Where can you find parts on-line for these bikes? Just searching on eBay?

Man, don't get a titled street legal 400 and thrash it :P

There are plenty of shops that import such bikes for "race-only" duty.

I think she must have a few experiences with them, as for me, they've TUNED my bikes in the past and are very thorough!

That's the right site for them. These bikes are a little pricey, but they are worth it and you can get a really nice one for $7000 and up depending on extras & condition. If you are interested, try G-Force and also I have a few connections (one being this one that is coming up soon). Good luck!!!

I wouldn't think of "thrasing it" as you put it. Rought it a little bit, but not thrash it. :twofinger

So, where are the shops that carry "race-only" duty rides? Please don't say GP Star (or something like that in So. Cal). I thought they import and try to plate these things also.

Aries, if you are really serious about getting a 400, or any japanese import, go to this website:

http://gpcmoto.com

They always have the best prices on japanese imports anywhere. They are located in North Highlands, CA. so you would have no problem going and getting it. They always have a decent selection of bikes and they also can get any replacement parts you will ever need, and stock a lot of them as well. I have gotten most of my NSR stuff from them. They are great!
