I'm finishing a SM project and am looking for some 17's. Anyone know who has the best deals?

good question. the main problem won't be price but just plain availability as I hear with the SM craze every place is out of rims!!!!

motomaster comes to mind
try searching for excel or sun dealers on the web

Thanks MS. MotoMaster is who I've been keeping in the back of my mind. I just found this place today . . .

Choices are limited, but prices are very good.

good luck finding them right now. everyone is out of stock.
i've been trying to get a set of black Excel rims for a few weeks
now. no luck yet. Paul the ex moto master rep is working getting
out of the UK for me.

what bike did you use to build your SM?

Sounds like I better start working on those wheels!

What bike? El Pigo! XR650L. I'm about 85%-90% done. I need 17's (have 18's now), big brake, and some aesthetics. What I do have is big bore kit, extra large cooling fins welded on, Mikuni flatside carb, K&N, Barnett, full exhaust, and new plastics and tank on order, but not in yet. It isn't pretty yet, but its rideable!

Try this place... http://www.lukesracing.com/

They claim to offer 20% off retail for most items in the White Bros catalog.
