ive noticed the last couple of days that the little smileys on barf arent animated for me anymore?? vat the rell?

You mean at all, or what? Do you see the repeat in your signature?

There is a setting in IE that dictates how many times to loop animated GIFs -- perhaps that's gotten changed?

i figured it was some kind of IE setting, but i cant seem to find where to adjust it, i went to: tools/internet options/advanced/multimedia/show animations but still nothing

yup my signature wont even animate

i cant make the switch :( since i design for clients using the most popular browsers IE is on the top of the list

I've found useful information!

That is, if we were talking about IE 4.5 *grumble*

i've had problems with IE where i couldn't save animated .gif's , they would end being saved as .bmp's . The fix was to delete you temporary internet files, under Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files.

You can try that see if it works.

i've had it for a while but it's never bothered me. my cache is cleared everytime i exit.

yeah thats what it was mackey, the damn cache again, when i cleared it through IE it wouldnt work, so i cleared it with my zonealarm firewall and it did the trick :thumbup
