What does this mean? Start up computer, when asked for name and password cancel is pressed. That usually started up the computer. Now three faults appear:

Nava Pw 32
Press OK

NSG SRV 32
Press OK

MPR EXE
Press OK

The default color for the desktop comes up but no Icons appear. Computer just sits there frozen and does nothing.

Any help? Thanks.

Background.

Was working fine yesterday. Downloaded Eudora light and installed. Restarted computer and it worked fine. Decided I didn't like Eudora and created 2 or 3 new profiles on Netscame Messenger. Now computer is having the above problems. The only way I know how to fix it is with a sledgehammer.

Thanx!:(

The best advice I can give ya is to search for all those progs and figure out what they belong to. NAVA is probably Norton AV, don't know the others. Reinstall each -- they should update any busted DLLs.

The only reason I didn't post that to begin with is that I credit you with already knowing that.

If only we knew someone that worked at Fry's....

I'm just gonna have him reinstall windowz. I think most of them are windowz files from what I can tell. You can't do anything on that tower right now unless it's in DOS and I don't know DOS. so... :rolleyes

*edit*

P.S. I'm the Mac guy, remember? Why would I think to "search for all those progs and figure out what they belong to. Reinstall each -- they should update any busted DLLs."
