I see lots of flatlanders setting up with no brakes now Jon, but I can see that being an issue if you use the bike to get around and live in sf! Too much slope and there's only so much stopping you can do squeaker style!!

Today me and my friend rode all downtown from market to fishermans warf, union sqaure, lil italy, chinatown, soma and shit, then all the way from dowtown to the DC bart station, thats was a long ass ride, and it was on bmx bikes. Some of the hills we rode were so steep, with the rear brake locked up, we just slid all the way down the hill, crazy.
 
just watch the videos, those guys are nice. its odd how no one watches the kid in the mall..today a huge crowd gathered on market to watch some guys break dance, and an even bigger crowd was in the same spot when some crackhead got his ass beat by like 7 cops...they socked him up and peppersprayed him too, then the firetrucks and emts came...big ass crowd for that too...but people just walked around the kid, shit he had some skill there.`
 
my left sneaker sole has virtually dissappeared due to these steep hills and one semi functional brake.

the one now is OGI, artist out of oakland..hes having a show tonight in sf.

i have 5 of his paintings...gettin more tonight :p
