That sounds good to me, I'm not sure about everyone else in BTB I'll check with them. But I'm in. Just make a time becuase I'm selling a cage right now and have to plan my buyers around riding. Maybe we could go do a little squidling afterwards too.

Lets say we meet at the Safeway in Castro Valley on the corner of Redwood Rd and Castro Valley Blvd at 10:00/10:30. Ken meeting in Castro Valley would be easier for the peeps coming from the other direction.
Hey Steve, buy your Gix 6 on Friday and break it in on Saturday with us.
10:30 in CV will mean 11:00am on my end of the run. I will meet you guys at the top of Redwood Rd and Skyling Blvd at 11:00 If someone would be kind enough to give me a call to wake me up, id appreciate it :D

I will be out there before everyone else shows up and I'll do a couple of runs on Redwood to see what the road is like, if the road is shit then we'll decide from there. Either way, I'll still be there at 10:00/10:30 at Safeway.

damn, i wish i found this board earlier :(
i'm a newb, and i haven't even been on the freeway or canyons yet :( i'm waiting for other people to ride with, before i try that stuff. i guess i'm a wuss, but i'd feel safer riding with other people for my first experiences.
that and the fact that i only ride on the weekends, because i dorm in San Jose State and I don't take the bike with me. so my riding time is limited, i know it's dumb excuse but :p
had i known you all met up at safeway over here.....in my own home town...:mad damn :p

Redwood road probably wouldn't be the best road for a first ride through the twisties. If you want I'll take you through Niles Canyon it's a good learning twistie road and the first one I road. Let me know if your interested. I'm always free in the mornings.

that's what I was the first time I went down to Alice's with "da boys". wayyyy over my head (and still is). so watch out. glad to see Port posted to get your feet wet, take it easy especially since no freeway exp. yet (speed).

We like to keep it pretty mellow around here on the group rides. Just watch out that you don't end up following Instance, Mstingray, gmann, wolf2600, NinjaBlade, killswitch, or me. (did I miss anyone?) :twofinger
ME?! Ohhhh.... I get it now. The horizontal riders club. :D

Niles Canyon is in Fremont. It's about a 15 minute ride but there's a couple more turns on the backside that I could strecth it out to about 30 minutes up and 30 minutes back.
