Fully adjustable ohlins race shock for a CBR600F4. Used for approximately 1.5 racing seasons.

Has remote adjustable preload, nice for on the fly adjustments like when you add a passenger.

Will it fit a F4i? It may but I really don't know, Ohlins lists different part numbers.

oh yeah, 500 bucks.

Really? not from what I could get from http://pub105.ezboard.com/fhondacbr600f4frm35.showMessage?topicID=30.topic & RonAyers... there aren't separate part numbers for the rear shock listed with suffix 1 & 2.

I ran an F4 Ohlins on my F4i racebike for nearlly 2 years and it is still going strong. Ohlins just changed the standard spring rate for the F4i. The shocks are the same if the spring rate works for your weight. GP

sooo what is the spring rate for this shock? i'm about 180 lbs all geared up....do you think this would work for my f4i?

It was my dads bike before I bought it off him. He weighs in around 200 lbs, and I weigh 175. So the spring is on the heavier side.

But it worked great for me.

Dont know if this will help but -

Dejavo, I may be interested in a spring swap if you decide to go with the ohlins shock. I've got a like new penske spring that will work for your weight if the spring on the Ohlins is indeed the 7 x 850lb spring. Like JDM's dad, I'm over 200lbs and need the heavier spring.

I talked to my dad, and he didn't remember ever changing the spring on this particular shock.

Anyway the number on the spring is 1093-49/130 059.

Which is a 13 kg/mm spring, which is a approximately a 725 lb/in.

This sounds like a really good deal for all you guys out there with an F4(i). This is probably the BEST single modifcation you can do to the bike if you do any kind of track days. Shameless bump.GP
