Bump. This is such a fun motorcycle. How many kilometers have you put on it since you've had it ?

Not much, it now has a little over 16,000 kilometers.

I'm in no hurry or being pressured to sell, just hate to see it not being ridden as much as it should be. I do ride it to work and back when I can, but I fortunatley or unfortunately only have an 8 mile round trip between work and home :p

If I don't sell, I plan to upgrade the brake system and thro on sum new rubber for next Summer :teeth

During the Summer is when I get to take it out a little more often cause the kids are out of school, but during the school year it gets ridden less.
However, I do take it up and down the street to keep the fluids pumping thru the motor and to add, I have 3 bikes so I gots to share the luv so none of them don't feel left out :teeth :laughing

Hi-

I'm a newbie who's lookin' for her first bike, and I've been doing research and watching the market for a few months now without ever having heard of this bike before- was it released only in Japan? The only data in english I can find on it seems to be the same webpage wolf250 pulled the specs from... the bike is absolutely beautiful, and I never would have guessed it to be a 250.

It's not listed on either kbb or on nadaguides; how do you go about determining it's worth? I don't mean to bastardize this thread, but in general, not just this beauty specifically, how do you price an import?

Has it ever been a problem getting someone to work on it?

Any idea what the seat height is?

Unfortunately I won't be in the market for at least another month. I'm waitlisted for the MSF course for the next several weekends and my fingers are crossed, but otherwise it's feb. If it's still up for sale when I'm in, I'll give you a call. The bike is beautiful, and I'd love to see it up close.

And thanks for putting up with my newbie questions, I've obviously got a lot to learn.

BTW.....I left out the answer regarding seat height in the PM I sent you. Not sure what the seat height is, however, I'm 5' 2" in height and am able to get both feet on the ground.....

Sorry to say the Wolf has been SOLD.

Eventually I will get a replacement when time allows my to, meanwhile I will be working on bettering my riding skills & tearing up the track on my YSR's :teeth

Hey Daren,

After waiting for 4 months for parts to get in from Aprilia in Italy, I've rebuilt the top end on the Wolf and got new hose inlets professionally welded on to the cyl heads. It's all back together and running great.

:wow so you're the new owner..... Welcome to BARF. I've been wondering who got this kewl little smoker. I've seen a few go up on CL and wondered if it was Daren's bike.
