RR, actually the bike was a lot easier, faster, and cheaper to fix than I was. It cost me about $1800 to repair to new condition, except for a small scratch on the frame that I ended up covering with a small Honda sticker. I took 2 surgeries to fix my elbow and to this day continue to feel the effects of the crash as I shattered my tailbone when I crashed. Be carefull of those logging trucks kids. Here is a pic of the scratch on the frame. I ended up selling the bike for over $6000 after the wreck, so it was really NOT BAD. $5200 looks like a great deal for your bike.GP

Weekly bump...anybody interested in buying the Akra system or the steering damper. If so, I could sell the bike for cheaper.

will steering dampner work on a 929?
RedbladeRR

Nope, otherwise I'd probably put it on my 929. I suppose if you got a different mounting kit it might work, but I had a hard time figuring out how to get a mounting kit for the 929.

$150...The damper is about 3 yrs old I would say and it, like the bike, is in excellent condition.

Thanks for the link Vince...unfortunately it only has mounting kits for Ohlins and Gold, mine's a Toby. I'll contact them and see if they can make kits for Toby...
But Gold looks like the same diameter as you Toby.
