Anybody have extra space on a trailer still? Was planning on heading up Tuesday night and then just crashing out. If anybody feels like sharing a trailer, let me know. Oh, BTW, I'm in the East Bay. Otherwise, I'll see all of you bright and early Wed. morning!!! :teeth :twofinger :chuci

yo max, if your bike can fit next to mine on the back of my truck, i can take you. it's a tacoma 4X4. might need some extra tie downs though...
thinking of renting a uhaul trailer and maybe split the cost of it? don't want some fellow BARFers stranded or having to ride up there needlessly.

hey Calimari,
I got a mtorcycle trailie all reserved from uhaul but from the site it says it can only hold one bike, I'd be willing to get ya, my GF live's in oakland and I need pick her up on the way anyway. Does anyone know if you can get 2 bike's on one of the uhaul style trailers? I'll check it out this weekend and let you know for sure.

Agent,
Yeah, you can get two bikes on one of those trailers. Chuci and his wife did it going down to Buttonwillow last month. That would be excellent if we could work it out. I live in Emeryville, so on your way from Oakland. Just gotta make sure we've got tiedowns that are long enough, otherwise no problem. I'm gonna pick up a set in the next day or so. Be more than willing to split the cost of gas and the trailer with you!

mstingray - I have a set of 4 tie downs and one canyon dancer. if you will help me bring the bike up / back I'll spring for your room dude (but not with me! homey don't play dat :laughing ) and if gas etc. is more than help there too. what do you think about that? we can caravan with other barfers and arrive day before so you don't have to haul ass same AM as trackday!
one 5 G gas can too.
or if want to split trailer will chip in that a ways. whatever you decide, but time is now ticking. :nerd

Anybody in SF need tie downs, I've got a set you can use. Also Agent, if you reserved a MC trailer, it is for one bike only, however, they also rent flat bed trailers that will fit two bikes, kinda a pain to tie down the bikes though, might take a while.

Agreed, they say it is for one bike and only have one wheel notch in the front. However, you CAN put the bikes next to each other. You just have to run straps from each clip-on through the front wheel of the other bike to the D-ring. Like I said, I know Chuci has done it. I do understand that comfort of the person renting the trailer and whose bike is on it are another thing. Let me know what you think after checking out the trailer Agent. It's all to the good.

the good is that it won't be as windy as last time, the bad is it's suposed to be 103 degrees out there.
If we can configure the tarps in a way that we have the most amount of shade, I will bring a pump mister, and a fan, and if you come off the track with your body over heating I have a remote shower head on my camper so you can get your head really wet. All I ask is that some of the peeps bring extra gallons of water just in case the tank runs dry. It holds thirty gallons, but I don't think it would last long. I'm figuring a gallon of water every time someone uses it. I don't care if it's empty at the end of the day, I just want to make sure that if some one needs to cool down they can, plus my son needs to be able to flush the tiolet.:teeth
If you peeps can give my an idea how many of you will be doing this, it would be cool. Does anybody know what the body count is for the peeps who will be pitting in the barf pits?

Just want to say..HAVE A BLAST!!! :twofinger
I'll get to the track with you guys one of these days...
Hopefully when it is only 80 degrees...start your massive water consumption 24 hours before riding..so your system is saturated and the new water you drink the day of the event is not making up for lost time :teeth
Have fun..ride safe...:smoking
