i will be putting my rs50 up for sale soon sometime next month after shawn (elskipador) service the bike. this would be a fun bike to putt around in in the city. you can say it is a good learner bike? the bike can also be converted into a track bike for use in www.stocktonmotorplex.com (heard track day is cheap!!! $50???)(monday 1pm-10pm trackday is ONLY $20!!!). CHECK OUT the mini bikes section of this forum (you can join the "mini bikes" club with a fifty)... looks like they are having a blast at the track (wanna be like the cool people don't you? then get a fifty!) upgrades are inexpensive too (http://apriliaforum.safeshopper.com/51/cat51.htm?586).
quick info:
miles - 1300
title - clean
registration - non-operational (no late fees)
very slow lowside on the left side. the pictures can speak for itself. don't worry about the turn signals (it will be fixed).
kbb.com private party sale is at $2590 trade in is at $1745
nada.com does not have a price for this
sale price $1750
please direct all questions and offers through private messages. jump on this deal before someone does.
thank you.

this is a really nice bike. if i had the money and i didn't just get my 600rr i would get it.

how well would a 50cc bike like this handle on the freeway?
i can't tell how big the rs50 is. can someone tell me what it is comparable to?

i was under the impression that nothing smaller than 250cc could go on the freeway
nice bike btw.

Unless the law has changed since 91, no bike under 175cc is allowed to be ridden on a Freeway and some highways and Expressways.
If you are taller than lets say 5' 10", you would probably feel more comfy on the Aprilla RS or Derbi 50 (16" wheel bike), but if its a unique bike you want, the YSR or NSR 50 (12" wheel bike).

*update* the bike is being serviced tomorrow. anyone interested in the bike can set up an appointment with me to take a look at the bike.

This is exactly the kind of second bike I want. Looks like it would be a blast, but alas wife would kill me for trying. Hopefully you sell this one soon, looks nice.
