Blatant bump here. Still have it for sale.

Great condition, never raced or crashed. Minor cosmetic chips and scratches from being knocked over at stand still. White and silver, Vance & Hines pipe. Needs rear tire & speedo stopped working after a buddy changed the front tire for me last spring. I was told the drive gear in the front wheel is the culprit but haven't looked into personaly. Mileage on the odometer reads 27k. mi. but I put 1000-1500 miles on it since then. The stock muffler is included. Bike is located in Santa Cruz. Feel free to email or P.M. for appt. or details or call 831-423-5215.

$2200

The writing is Japanese and the symbols mean "blood", "sucking" and "demon". Put the three together and that is the only translation of "vampire" in Japanese.

I forgot to mention the stickers will have to be removed before sale as they are a motorcycle club logo. :devil

As for Pi, I dunno. It's just a cutsie Halloween thing.

If you send me a money order I will deliver you the bike :teeth . My mother in law lives in Sac. so It would make a good excuse to visit. NOT going to bring it there just so you can look at it 'tho. :hand
Sold the CB-1 to my friend Dipendra who is now a B.A.R.F.er (Uncoiled). Unfortunately it was stolen but was later recovered but in a less than pristine state. Still runs good 'tho.

Yes, they are stickers made by a member of my motorcycle club, the Santa Cruz Vampires, and are for use by club members only.

Check your P.M.'s

Never. I know the F2/F3 models are prone to reg./rect. failures but I've heard of no issues with the F1 model. I did have the fuel pump fail so I bypassed it and removed the pump to make it a gravity feed system. This resulted in less than desireable results as the tank would vapor lock under certain conditions (high temps, full tank, etc.). This would invariably happen at the worst places such as having to coast from the far left over five lanes of traffic to the shoulder or in 105 degree heat going up an exposed foothill in the Sierras. The pump and filter have been replaced and the last several 600 plus mile road trips have yielded no issues. Other than the fuel pump issue the bike has been rock solid for the last 4-5 or so years I've owned it.

By any chance, would you be willing to part the vance & hines pipe and ur smoke (or tint, can't tell) screen?

Sorry for my late response. I've not kept up on my email lately.
The screen is a stock, clear unit. Not tint. The pipe will stay with the bike for now because it adds alot of character to the sound and feel of the bike. That rasppy exhaust note is a joy to hear and feel while riding where as the stocker is pretty bland and 'ho, hum'. I'm not willing to loose out on a sale because the bike didn't sound or feel exciting enough to a novice rider.

Yes it is. I still have it because aside from posting it to BARF I've made no effort to sell it. I figured I'd get serious about it in the spring (which it now is). Although I had made mention off delivering it to Sac. in prevoius posts that's not realistic for me to do as I have no truck And I don't think it would be worth the risk of getting stranded riding as the rear tire is pretty bad. Any time you want to come down to look at it lemme know in advance and I'll arrange for you to see and ride it.

Nice, I'll let you know when I can. What needs to be done? Is the speedo still shot?, etc...
