I looked at one when I was buying my Mean Streak at Fremont Cycle Center. The bike just looked/felt HUGE, as in OMG it's the size of a Goldwing huge. The display is very cool though from what I saw. I definately liked the somewhat stealthed exhaust on each side of the bike.

Oh god. I hate the rune I was always a valkyrie fan, but the rune looks like crap, and its like 25,000. Its one concept bike that should have stayed a concept. Just my 2 cents

I like the Rune. I'd want a red one and pretend I'm riding a Akira's bike. Isn't the big 1800 VTX doing crappy now? I read the 1300 is a much better bike with the same performance of the 1800 without the x-tra FAT.

Back on topic: I wouldn't pay $25k for the Rune. I'll wait to find a used one someday for $10-15K.

Agreed about the vtx1300. Its a much better bike. No drivetrain lash, better cornering, better engine growl, and not nearly as top-heavy. The 1800 was over-kill. The 1300 is really nice.

Why not just buy a car? Probably have more fun in a mini cooper type S. Weighs a lot less too. :laughing :twofinger

I saw one on the floor at Golden Shower Cycles and was pretty impressed with it. I give kudos to Honda for bringing that concept to life. However, at $25,000, it's too rich for my blood.

It is awful, about as bad as that Triumph Rocket:barf
I still think Honda has great technology:)

I like it.

I sat on one and it felt like driving a cadillac from the back seat. :laughing

Still like it though.

Rune, 1153 lbs. Wouldn't want to wrestle that thing through the twisties. I read a review that said you can't lean it much, or you will start dragging parts.

I love the look of the VTX, but that 1800 is too top heavy. I almost traded my Vstar for a VTX 1300, but found out you don't get FI or hydraulic lifters on the 1300. :(

Love or Hate the Rune, it has no problems getting sold....

So far where I work, we sold 2 Runes within the week of getting it....

Everyone, including the magazines, were surprised that it rode well for something so hefty.....

Personally, I like the black one....

They got a burgundy one at Fairfield Cycle that may be there for a long time. They still have the orange Busa on the floor that they tried to rape me on price in July.
