I think they were talked out of Susanville... It's now either Eureka, Yreka, or Redding as a base.

Those that are complainin' about Eureka have never been there. Yeah, the nightlife ain't TheCity, but that's not what we're getting together for now is it? There is a fairly large University north and south of Eureka and there are crapload of roads to check out. In fact some of 'em are on my top 10. I know at least one of 'em is on Pashnit's list.

Besides, who wants to ride to Redding or Yreka in the summer? :flame Neither is a place I ride to voluntarily during that time of the year.

don't be hurt, this forum has all types, some like to ride then party,others like to ride and then spend the night in a motel six watching tv. guess which team I'm on. hint..I don't like tv. also I didn't vote so my warped views don't count. also, I like to see things other than black top. I know I'm probably not serious biker material, but travel for me involves, to some degree at least, the destination.

Once upon a time I lived on hwy 36 ~45 miles up from 101. Had to go into Eureka for the nightlife, seemed like 2nd st. was the place to be. Just remember though, the pretty ones are cops :laughing :cool
