While back That-Ain't-Chicken idea for ZR7 riders planning a group ride. Something worthy of ZR7's talent to go the distance. All bikes would be invited.
There's a bunch of ZR7 on BARF. Each uniquely qualified to organize part of the ride. I've been on many BARF rides could help with "What happens with large group of riders" on these rides. Ways to keep things together. Gambler's designing routes is obvious choice.

Plan ride to occure during this Winter. Another Cabin fever production :D

That-Ain't-Chicken is around. Seen on South Bay riders forum recent.
Valgar yeah can be the Activities director :D

Did a survey on the board this Summer (Yosemite II). Findings for a majority of riders able to attend a ride. two results
1. One day marathon ride on a weekend.
2. Overnighter Saturday and Sunday.

Other options were Marathon during week day and overnighter during weekday. Only a 1/3 was able to pull it off during weekdays.

how about we pick a destination and everybody makes their way to it for a camp out or ? like, Fort hunter ligget near king city for the 1st day. 101s to hollister to 28 to jolon rd. to hunter ligget. camp out, party and eat some tri tip. then????????? the coyotes are awesome at ligget. at night the sounds are ..............just awesome. elk bugleing is too cool.

I'll just follow along....provide covering fire if necessary...I think others would provide more group wide happy activities...

Although, for a nice mellow time.

The fisherman in San Clemente is nice, only 450 miles direct route, a bit further with meandering through the hills..plenty of bars along the beach right outside the restaurant, and a really laid back attitude amongst the locals

And maybe the hotel folks remember me as "the guy that tore his bike apart in the parking lot...rode off....then came back with a severe limp and a bottle of vodka"

:laughing

sounds like fun, except for the severe limp. might not want to explain that. we'll just use our imagination.......:teeth

When would be this Winter. Waiting for more ZR7 ppl to take notice of their ride.

San Clemente overnighter sounds interesting.

It's something else man, sounds like a thousand of them surrounding the campground. Lovely way to fall asleep.:zzz

The first thing will be figuring out how to use the other campers as decoys :twofinger

:teeth

shoot dude, coyotes fear us. I'd be more worried about the other campers.:teeth :confused

You are correct, but he cannot go with me everywhere!!!
Besides, I sneek him into Henry Coe State Park all of the time (in the Winter) and he listens to the Coyotes there.

I have vacation time due ... so I am up for camping/riding and deviant activity.

Sorry for the absence... needed time to deal with things.
I learned one thing.

Isolation kills dreamers.

yes.. there will be a screenplay about this dark period.
I'll tell you over beer sometime.

If weather isn't too crappy.
I'll be doing my 'Hangover Ride" on Thursday. 1/1/04

Feel free to join up...nothing is set in stone ie: start time, route.
because..well, we're gonna be hungover.

so far it's just me and shuo.

Like to do some riding, Hangover ride sounds good. Weather reports has rain starting new years eve, throughout next day. I don't mind the rain, count me in if it's a go.

Same with Winter ride, say when. I'll start making some noise to invite others in group ride section.

That Tin Butt ride, did earlier. That would be kewl ride over 400 miles. Start out real early morning tho.

Wear a boxing glove when just starting out :D

This ZR7 ride is still active. Just getting organized very slowly.

Have a destination already.
The fisherman in San Clemente (http://www.fishermansrestaurant.com/)
roughly 450 miles to the epicenter :D

Can go about getting there two ways. Nice and slow taking two days round trip. Or fast as hell in one day :D
