Well the day started out on a shitty note, Bearlouts' brother showed up at the meeting spot to inform us that John (Bearlout) was in an accident Friday and dislocated his shoulder and cracked a couple ribs. He spent the night in the hospital and would be released Sat.
We went ahead with the ride route with a couple changes. Here are some pics

Pics were from a disposable cam, then scanned so quality isnt the greatest

From Ukiah we headed to Hopland and over 175. My speedo cable came loose and we pulled over at the summit to fix it. Then we watered the trees. :laughing

Hey, pics!:laughing

Looks like a good time:thumbup

Best wishes to Bearlout.

hey muddy!! nice pics! that was fast!
(I look chinese in that mexican restaurant..)

my speedo cable came loose too- and I tried to fix it when I got home by doing what you said- find the hole and guide the end of the cable with the little thing sticking up into the hole and tighten it up, but it didn't work! All I got was this goo all over my hands, and the cable is still loose with the thingie still sticking up, with goo.
But I will try again tomorrow, since I only played with it for a few minutes today.

Anyway, thanks for the fun time! :)

Ah, so that was YOU all heading the other way. 175 was a mess!

A friend and I decided to log a few miles in that direction, as the forecast changed at the last minute. I was on the 04 red Aprilia (with the tiger ears on the red helmet), with my buddy Dean on his BMW GS.

It was freakin cold up near Clearlake!

I saw you, I remember the things on your helmet. I couldn't tell what they were when we went by. I thought they were afro puffs.

Looks like you guys had lots of fun, sorry I did not ride more with you guys.

Muddy,
(Now I know what Mexican Resturant you are talking about......)

Rob

I think you are the fourth vote for Sundays.
Looks like we gonna change the day.

BTW I got all week open till Jan, so if anyone wants to ride during the week I am game.
You know the days when everyone is working and the roads are clear

:teeth Maybe I'll get to ride with you guys again after all, (Sundays), now I just have to figure out what day to ride the dirt bike!
Sorry to hear about John. You have any details,... how's the bike?
Hope he's able to get back on it soon.
