The Place:
We have a decent size room for rent (about 11' by 13'), in our 3-bedroom apartment (total sq ft about 1200). Its a fantastic place for the price (we got it 2 years ago when landlords were crying for tenants), we have a big kitchen with all the trimmings, incl dishwasher, a big living room (the emphasis is on room here people) and a dining area. Also our own clothes washer and dryer.
Rent does not include utilities, which we divide equally, utilities are SBC, garbage, PUC (water and shit(no pun intended)), DSL, MCI, DirecTV and PG and E, they average $100 a month each over the last 6 months, but that should be going down as were getting rid of MCI and switching to cheaper DSL provider, if you don’t have a computer ive a spare laptop so you don’t feel left out.
we're a block and a half from Safeway, a block and a half to mission st for those busses into the city (which take roughly 30-60 minutes depending on the time of day to get downtown) and a 10 minute walk from balboa park bart (about 25 minutes door to downtown trip time).
The People:
We are 2 Irish males, 24 and 26, very easy going, we’re partial to the odd pint and/or smoke, but we keep the place tidy, i spose youd call us professionals in the computer industry. Collectively (some in common, some not) our “interests” are motorcycles, golf, snowboarding, skiing all things computer related, the lake (any of them), food, movies, staying in, going out and a few others I cant think of right now.
Oh ya and the place is available from january 1st, but if your stuck or are going to be away for the holidays, im sure we can arrange somting.
We’re looking for someone around our age that’s not a whiner or nag and that can enjoy themselves (oh and pay the bills/rent on time too)
move in is first and last months rent (which doubles as a deposit)
