Cool Port ya got one, it gives you tons of confidence. Now turn that crank that thing up, I have my left lever thingy at like "3:00".
I also put some silicone in the top of the two allens screws to help prevent someone from just walking up with an allen wrench and taking it. If I ever need to remove the damper for some odd reason I just pick out the silicone and VOILA!!!! Its all about prevention......:D :D

I don't know about that, I get the shakes all the time and wish I had one on my bike.

I have a CBR and I got it under hard accelleration, then again my bike was kinda notorious for it.

Here ya go Port, with Silicone in the allen screws and all. :D

The reason CBR's need it is cause they have so much POWA!!:twofinger

I Like the silicon idea instance. I'm def. going to have to do that. Loving the damper, feels like my bike is on rails now.

damn they look so similar. :D

my bro got the ohlins 1 (the tube/shock/piston 1). i think it matches the bike better cause it's silver/blue. all about pose value. :twofinger

Better than that...go to a fastener specialty store and pick out a couple of anti-tamper bolts. These can be anything from a Torx head to some other wild design. What they all have in common is the need for a unique tool to remove them. Odds are, the average thief has nothing more than a few allen wrenches.

I would def. spend a couple of bucks to save my expensive damper.

How much did the Scotts cost you? I've been looking to get one myself but they seem a bit pricey. I think the cheapest I found one for was $400

You cant get them anywhere for less than 400 bucks with mounting hardware, believe me I looked. Unless you can catch a group purchase going on somewhere. Its pricey but worth every damn penny!!!!

How much does that set you back and do they make them fer 91 Gixxers?

You can usually pick a Scotts up for $380 +s/h. I do not believe they make one for your bike, they did not list any years before '94. You could give them a call though just to be sure.
