What colleges do you guys goto, or did goto that ride?

I just got my first batch of acceptneces and rejections this month. Dang looks like I'm no longer going to be a Bay area rider by the looks of it.... :(
 
Hey I learned to ride as a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin! Has anyone here ever ridden in 25 degree weather in order to get to work?

I remember the day the first snow fell while I was at class, and I rode home in the snow. Made it home fine, stopped the bike, put my feet down, and the bike just slips out from under me on a patch of ice!
 
UCD said fuck off, UCLA said fuckoff, SLO said fuck off, UCI said WELCOME. That's all I've heard from so far. I applied Mechanical Engineering, so yeah :p. I'm still waiting on the UCSC 3/2 program w/ UCB. If I don't get into there, looks like I become one of dem' socal bastards all you guys complain about.

I really hate having smart friends. 5 got into UCLA one though WAC(world arts and cultures), one on biochemical engineering, one on Mechanical, and the other in I think bio, she's pre-med. Oh, and UCLA is their backup schools. Bastards. :D

I really loved the morning chat w/ them:

"So I got into here last night, what about you?"

"Oh, umm... I'm still waiting to hear anything..."

Until tonight, I had only heard from LA, but that was just a "hey it's just an extra mouse click, why not" type application.
 
I'm at UCD doing Mechanical Engineering right now, and started riding here too

Used to ride a bicycle on an ice covered pond.. Now, THAT is fun! Can't go too fast, can't add too much power, can't lean at all....

I transfered to UCR now, so I guess I'm one of them "damn socal guys." :p
