looking for a 2 bedroom to rent in SJ

My current apt sucks big time, so I'm looking to get some recommendations for other places.

For ~$1400, preferably between Santa Clara and San Jose, along 85 or 87. Or a 1 bedroom <$1200.

- no thin walls
- secure parking: gated (NOT gated because it's in the ghetto), underground, garage, etc.
- noise: some is ok, but no 24/7 screaming kids
- washer & dryer, A/C would be nice


Right now Avalon Rosewalk looks very promising, a co-worker used to live there and liked it. So something similar to Rosewalk is what I'm looking for :teeth

Check out the Cinnabar on Almaden expy. I live here. has gated parking, thin floors, thick walls, few screaming kids, no a/c, but its a nice place with lots of trees and a great pool and spa.
1's start at 1100ish and 2's start at 1200ish I believe.
Office- 971-0209...oh, and they have plenty of vacants, more than they'd ever admit too.

If that doesn't work check out University Gardens on S.12th in SJ. It is a condo complex that has a few owners that rent out... rent is around $1200 for 2/2 plus pool privledges and 2 spots of safe underground parking. Close to 280 and VERY quiet. Good luck.
