I'm changing into a totally different field in which I have absolutely zero experience so I'm developing a totally new resume. This is what I have so far. What does everybody think? BTW, I'm moving from IT to the medical field.

Couple of quick comments:
1) don't need the paragraph/Profile on the top. Should not be needed. If you want, you can replace that with a clear and precise objective.
2) I think you can leave your salary info. out. leave that for filling in the job application. Often times, you will have more than 1 interviewers from the company that you are applying a job from. Not all of those interviewers need your salary info.
3) I like the format; put the Education info. after your job experiences (as in as the end of the resume).

Good points, I've never seen a resume with a profile...i've always used objectives.....and salary info too, you should probably leave it out and have it available upon request like your references.

i would remove the table borders.
you dont have to say reference available upon request, it is pretty much known at this point, at least from the new style resumes ive seen and from what people have told me.
good luck

Please take this as what it is - constructive criticism. I have served as VP, COO, and Managing Partner of firms where I have done a fair share of hiring/firing.
A few comments for you.
Drop all the details of the education as well as put them behind your current accomplishments. HS - graduated will suffice. GPA and status re: college will suffice for higher eduacation as well.
Profile - drop it. as others have said, an objective (only if it is really, really good and/or honest). 9 out of 10 times they are BS and will make me trash a resume from that alone.
1 PAGE - I cannot say this enough. Most of these folks are going through tons of resume's and will rarely even get to your 2nd page - especially if you are attempting to change fields. You really packed in the tech stuff which may not even be something the person in the field you are shooting for even comprehends. Keep it simple and grab their attention. A personalized cover page can ofter accomplish this as well.
absolutely drop the salary info. for one, you may be leaving money on the table if tey see what kind of nut you need to crack.
There might be more money,b ut they only offer you what they know you need. Let the salary chips fall where they may and negotiate them during the hiring process.
If you are handing hard copies of this out, put it on a nice thick stock. It will stand out in a pile as they shuffle through it.
Otherwise, nice layout, nice font and clear.
Good luck.

Thanks for the help and the criticism. This is a first draft of this version. This is actually a very stripped down version of my resume compared to my more technical one. I've left off a good 4/5th's of the stuff that I've done and I'm only covering the past 5 years of my career. I've been busy.
Anywho, I'll make the suggested revisions and a few others that I have thought of and post it back to here in a day or so.

Great points! Especially the technical details. You might want to change the wording such that it reads more managerial. Someone in the medical field won't care how many NT servers you administrated. They might be more interested in how many TSRs you managed. They might also be more interested in the $$ amount of your implementations/projects.
The table borders, I'm guessing, are just there because of the format view in MS Word. They don't print right? :teeth
Good luck!

Actually, I'm using OpenOffice under MacOS 10.3 . I just enabled the borders so I could see where the tables were when I was setting them up, just never got around to turning them back off.

Way to go escaping techie hell. Thumbs up! After getting the RN your resume will likely not matter as my understanding is that many places are very short staffed. In the meantime I would look to maximize the managerial and human interaction aspects of previous jobs and also do a tweak for individual opportunities you are targeting.
Even if you're not a RN, there are a lot of positions for CNAs & CMAs. (no not Novell CNAs) :laughing
