Porn. E. Okie. God bless America, you can have your porn and your karaoke
the way the good lord intended. Spanganga is the place and they are doing a
splendid weekend of tasteless schlock otherwise known as Porn-E-Okie.
Porneokie is a delightful blend of porn and karaoke where you sing the
songs and chaos provides sychronistic video acommpaniment that is so in
sync that it would have to be pre-planned, but you know it isn't. Porneokie
is a gut wrenching, pride swallowing, note bending cringe-a-thon brought to
you by none other than Chicken John, master idiot. The principle is
simple: You sing the songs, we play the porn behind you. Some of the most
disgusting, tasteless, stupid, idiotic porn films that ever graced a screen
will be shown behind the unsuspecting friend you sign up to sing without
their knowledge. The outrageous $5 admission is a small percentage of the
legal fees it would cost if this show, a felony in the state of California,
was to get panty-raided. Soon, porneokie will be considered a terrorist
act, if it isn't already. It's definately a crime against good taste and
decency. And it's kinda fun, too. . .

On Saturday, March 9th, The Center for Sex & Culture and the LGBT Community
Center will present Bi and For the People, a
gala celebration of unity and diversity for the bisexual community and
friends. Bi and For the People will be held at the new
home of the Center at 1800 Market Street at Octavia. Door from 7pm, party
until 1pm.

Bi and For the People will feature entertainment, community
acknowledgements for local activists, and a festive atmosphere of
mingling and celebration. Early arrivees will mingle to the sounds of
Radio-Free Pusspuss with DJ Pusspuss. Planted amongst the
crowd, members of the Moral Minority will subvert you.

Performances start at 9 p.m. Post-porn modernist and diva Annie Sprinkle
headlines the evening with spoken word and a slide show. Noted performance
artists Keith Hennessy, Jade Blue Eclipse, and other members of Circo Zero
will perform daring feats. Stand-up comic and Safe Sex Slut Rob Yaeger joins
us from Minneapolis.Bi-dyke folkpop songstress Stephanie Haffner will sing
for us. Thrill to the The porny intentions of the Porn Klown Posse with
photo
ops! Kim Airs joins us from Boston to perform her gender-bending drag show.
More great acts joined us after press time! Carol Queen will MC. Stage
performances will be interpreted for the hearing impaired.

Following the performances, DJ Pusspuss will close the evening. Door prizes
are being donated by local bi-friendly individuals
and businesses.

All proceeds collected on behalf of Bi and for the People beyond the
evening's costs benefit bisexual programming at the Center
-- please be generous if you can. No one turned away for lack of funds.
Sliding scale $5 and up. For $20, students, youth, and the
low-income receive a one-year membership to the Center. For non-low income
people, $30 or more receives a membership.
