hey hey hey!! guess what folks???
ITS GROUP RIDE TIME AGAIN!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!
5150 is having another group ride on the 17th of march. Destination?!?!? UNKOWN! but knowing 5150, we will find some place fun to go. Just a heads up on the near future plans. I will update again as soon as we figure out where to go. Everyone is welcome to join. All riding level is accepted, and best of all we get to run traffic lights semi-legally...sorta..hahaha. Hope to see everyone there!

UPDATE::: If its not wet outside, the group ride is on! if its wet, you're on your own! :D

The 17th is St. Patties day! Their is a big celebration in down town campbell. Maybe we could ride around a while and land there for some food/drink/hanging out in the afternoon. There will be free music and stuff too!

What say everyone?:D

Ok!! i finally put up the poll-like voting deal on the 5150 forum so please check it out if you are interested in comming on the group ride, and vote since you will be involved if you do go! :-D

it really depends on where we go..if we go napa, then we start off earlier...if we're going to the city or somewhere close, then we start off at the usual noontime meet, then head out about 1pm.

Mag, its an all day/afternoon thing. Its a lot of fun, you get to see stunts on the freeway and be in a line of bikes like over a mile long. 5150 does a good job of controlling the traffic and ensuring a safe ride.

Ken, like Hwy 9, I'm down for anything. The Skaggs/Berryessa run sounds good though. :D

ok folks! we've finally hashed out a plan..its a south bay cruise. I think its easier for everyone from the SJ area to meet at Road Riders. Redline Ryders will be there hopefully. Everyone from the northbay or Union city area ( hayward/sanleandro/berkeley/oakland/etc) should meet at Starbucks at noontime. hopefully i wont be late..hehehe..Ok see everyone there!!

PS: did i mention that part of the day is hooligan fest?? :D

ok folks here is the update to whats going to happen. After leaving Union Landing, we are going to The Great Mall to the Wild 94.9 concert they are throwing there. So i think everyone from the SJ area should meet there. Afterwards we will be heading into SJ and going to CofeeLovers for a bit, then heading to RoadRiders. After that, we will then work our way over to highway 101 and northward and stop off at AMC Mercado for food and drinks. and then head up to SM and over the bridge. that should round out our day.

It's gonna be pretty crazy that day there, with the free concert there and all, I would'nt mind getting a free CD though. But I definitely wanna be part of the festivities. Whee!!

well it looks like the forecast says its going to rain on sunday. So the group ride has been cancelled. We'll do this again another time when the weather is nicer. Sorry everyone.
