2003 GSX-R600 Silver and Black

For Sale! 2003 GSX-R600, Silver and Black, 2,200 miles. Fell off kickstand and has a few scratches on left side. Other than that, appears perfect but hasn't been ridden a lot.

It has a transferrable Extended Warranty with 36 months remaining and is registered in Colorado (49 State bike).

Owner (my son), is recently discharged Army veteran who is off to be a NYPD police officer (sigh). Can't use bike in New York City and needs to get rid of the loan.

We will be completely realistic about a deal on this bike. It is definatley worth $5k plus. (wholsale $4.1 K, Retail $6 K). If you are serious, contact me and I'll show you the bike. :x

So, we'd like to get $5.5K for it.

PLEASE have a motorcycle license! This is not a beginner bike. It is fast as hell and twice as sexy. If you kill yourself on it ... well, I don't want to have to go there. :green

Oh and it has NEVER been over 130 MPH! ;)

The attached picture is of the actual bike.
Follow this link for more pics (including of scratches).

If you are interested, PM me for to set up an appointment to see it. I live in Fairfax in Marin county.

Forgot to mention...

The bike has a transferrable extended warranty with 36 months still left on it.

the blk/silver gsxr is definally good looking! dont see too many of them around & it sounds like the owner is willing to sell at a great price to the buyer. definally a loss for the seller because a buddy paid over $9K last summer for his 2003.

Yep. That's about what the package came to. But, a rookie NYPD cop doesn't make much and if you thought SF was expensive ... you haven't seen anything. Plus, would you want to ride one of these (or try to hang on to one of these) in New York City? :(

I just updated the original post (see top of thread) with additional information that I should have provided aerlier.:blush

Also, I found my camera and now have pictures of the actual bike including the scartches.

Apparently this is important, so I just edited the original post (again).

Currently registered in Colorado (49 State bike).
