Bought an '04 R1 23 April. Still waiting on the plates.

Called DMV.

Insufficent funds deposited.

Called the dealer, went to the dealer, nothing but excuses.

Anybody else have this problem w/ them?

TIA.

I had an SV1000 when they first came out and it took 3 1/2 months to get the plates. Not sure what the hold up was, but it took a long time. From past experience, it usually only takes a month or so to get 'em..
I'd go to the dealer and raise some hell. I'd bet they waited a while to turn in the paperwork to the DMV. Probably just laziness from whoever is in charge of sending them out.

Good luck.

I'd go see them. They've been pretty helpful to me when I've been in. Plus you can park there and literally walk to the DMV (they've moved to Amphlett in San Mateo).
