Just wondering what, if any long term effects of motorcycle riding are there on your manhood.
In cycling they have special seats that ease the perineal nerve (spelling). Rule of thumb is to either get off the seat once in a while or stop riding after two hours on the saddle and rest a little bit.
So what should we look out for when riding. I don't use viagra nor do I intend to need it.
This should not be a problem with riding unless you're riding incorrectly or your body size and bike ergonomics make it so that you have excess pressure on groin area.
With most riding, using your knees to press against the tank and pressure on the balls of your feet will take pressure off the sensitive areas.
I take care of a lot of neck, back and wrist problems of riders which are usually caused by various types of injuries (mostly non riding related) and none are groin injuries due to riding.
On a sport bike in the mountains, you're shifting right and left so there typically is no weight there anyway. You typically don't want to put all your weight on the seat anyway.
So the moral is "don't sit on your balls" take weight off your seat and press on the sides of the gas tank and put weight on your pegs.
Actually I do find that the long term effects are:
1. Friends
2. Great rides which leave lingering chronic smiles.
3. Improved attitudes
4. Satisfaction from continued increased skills.
5. More bikes and more gear.
6. Accumulation of tools.
7. and much more.
