If that's the one the guy hand built that in his shop, using an english wheel for the aluminum body work IIRC.

That was Rob... People confuse us quite a bit because both our rigs are silver and low. He hand-built his from the ground up.

Rob...

Woot... well, four days of after-hours fabrication and the mechanical aspects are installed. And freakily enough, everything works perfectly right off the bat.

I had to fabricate and braise up my own brackets, as well as make my own ball-bearing supported bellcrank, linkages, and spacers for the shift assembly. I think the only thing I didn't make or design myself was the stock Honda shift arm that goes on the shift shaft, and the Translogic unit itself.

And for some video action...

http://badcatracing.com/translogic/csr-translogic1.mpg

Watch/listen to the countershaft sprocket as I click it through gears.

Now it's time to take everything back apart so I can paint all the bits.

+1 to the guys at EMA-USA. They hook it up. The side car is sick. I saw someone with a side car taking corners the other day on two wheels. It reminded me of when I was younger riding ATCs and almost rolling them on about every turn.

Moike,
Do you plan on using your clutch for the downshifts?
I like the button positioning on the bracket.

Nice work!
