As a member it's very difficult to tell the difference between "BoD is ignoring us" and "BoD doesn't see our attempts at communication". For better or worse, in today's society where everyone carries around personal communication devices 24/7 a non-response is perceived as the former rather then the latter.

That aside, I'd like to encourage all the BoD to get an BARF account and setup an email notification for the "AFM Forum". It's easy to do and you'll get one email a day summarizing which threads are new/active.
bod@afmracing.org is the email address that reaches the board members.

Well it used to be afm@. Guess it changed? It didn't bounce indicating the email address is not valid. It does say bod@ on the website so I guess that's on me. Forwarded my email to bod.

And I got that one.

It has been bod@afm since my first term on the board, and honestly I have no idea where the other one goes.

I am going to suggest that since the club is changing the registration system (hopefully) that all racer numbers are still locked to their current owners until a month before the first round.

I was going to mention that earlier, but I forgot.

Just got an email blast from the AFM secretary with the following info.

"ALL 2017 licensed racers, WILL have their race number held, for the 2018 season, through the first race of year.

We are in the process of moving to an on-line registration through MSR.

Once we are ready to "Go Live," we will send an e-blast with the details."

Just FYI, afm@afmracing.org goes to the Prez, the Vice Prez and to licensing@afmracing.org (Kinsy)

And I just verified that bod@afmracing.org does indeed go to every single BOD member

Got that same email.

Prior to receiving the email i called, couldnt leave a message as the mailbox was full. It was stated on the voicemail that the best way to reach the person was by text. So, i texted and got no response.

I had already sent a check in with the paperwork. We'll see.

Has anyone received the e-mail blast yet? I have not. I am use to registering every year in early December.

The online registration system is not up and running yet to my knowledge, only email sent out so far was the one telling everyone to standby.

Nothing about experience levels on the registration forms: novice, expert, novice->expert, etc.
