Hey everyone, I know I might be reaching, but I'm lookin for an old CBR600 F4i as close to stock as possible. Doesnt need to be the prettiest thing in the world, It just needs to be reliable, run, and have a title/slip. I've got about $1500 to spend.

For 1500 you'll be lucky if you can find a beat to hell stunt bike. From what I've seen lately anything in decent shape usually runs around 2500 and goes up to around 4k. Anyone asking more than 3300 for a 12-17 year old F4i is high in my opinion lol. Just my Sorry I'm not much help Good luck with your hunt tho.

You're totally right and I agree 100%. Just looking for someone that's interested in the quick sale that just needs to make room by getting rid of an old bike. ye know? Close to stock is a pipe dream I know, but doesnt have to be the prettiest thing in the world. Hell I wouldnt mind a stunt bike for learning wheelies.

Well if that's the case check Merced Craigslist. There was a F4i stunt bike for sale for around 1200. I haven't seen it and don't know anything about it but it might work if that's what you're lookin for.

F3 is very cool. My friend sold his F2 ( virtually the same) to my son. It had 92k miles on it when we swapped out the motor. Didn't need to but got a good deal on a low mileage motor. My son took it to Oregon and back with zero problems. Only trouble was the notorious reg/rec issue, fixed with a Polaris Reg/Rec and a Triumph harness. I kind of think the F2 and F3 may be getting to be more collectable than the F4, F4i.

I've got a 2001 F41 that is currently under non -op status with DMV. I have ridden it only on a few track days over the past 10 years which is why it is on non-op. It has a clear title , around 18 K miles and runs fine although it isn't street legal (no headlight, mirrors or signal lights.) I have most of the original parts to make it streel legal and it could easily be done in a day or so.

If you are willing to consider a price closer to $2000 I'll send you some pics and we can go from there.
